Rain to Hit Parts of Jakarta This Saturday

At tomorrow's dawn, moderate rain will pour in North Jakarta, West Jakarta and Thousand Islands. Light rain to hit Central Jakarta

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) on Saturday (2/1) issued a warning of possible medium-light rainfall in several areas in Jakarta.

"In the morning, moderate rain in North Jakarta, West Jakarta, South Jakarta, Central Jakarta, East Jakarta and Thousand Islands," said BMKG's Public Relations Division Head, Achmad Maulana.

In the afternoon, light rain would hit North and East Jakarta. At night weather would be cloudy.

"At tomorrow's dawn, moderate rain will pour in North Jakarta, West Jakarta and Thousand Islands. Light rain to hit Central Jakarta," he expressed.

Temperatures are predicted at 24 to 31 degrees Celsius with humidity of 75 to 95 percent. Northwest - North wind speed of 05 to 20 kilometers per hour.

"Beware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds with a short duration in North, West, South and Central Jakarta areas in the morning and early morning," he stated.
